2000-01 ~ 2004-11 |
Computer consultant at Ax Business Intelligence
in Reykjavík. This work has so far included analysing, programming, locating
a Swedish debiting system to Icelandic, close contact to the customers, and more.
I have had big responsibilities in a number of projects regarding connections between this and
other systems (e.g. Cognos, Axapta and more) and EDI/B2B according to a number of different protocols.
The employment has been very developing. I have had the opportunity of expanding my
frames of reference – in particular by exciting experiences of working internationally,
but also by a big portion of inspiring freedom bound by responsibilities.

1995-08 ~ 1999-12 |
Computer consultant at WM-data Ellips AB in Växjö. This employment
has mostly consisted of programming of one of Sweden's major systems for debiting
of electricity, water, garbage collection and other municipal utilities – named
"K-plus". The work was performed in projects with many employees at different
locations, which gave many interesting and stimulating experiences. In some extent
I have been working both shorter and longer periods at customers sites both within
Sweden and abroad (in the Czech Republic and most of all on Iceland).
During 1997 and 1998 the mentioned system was moved to a graphical environment according to
"Windows-standard". In this conversion I mainly had the responsibility for batch-processes
and printouts. During 1999 I was, among other things, responsible for the development
of a system for electronic debiting, routines for automatic telephone-service and
connections to the Internet.
This new system has been marketed both within and outside Sweden. The number of orders
of installation increased rapidly and the speed of developing rose every week. This
development lead to many stimulating challenges and high demands of productivity.
The employment has also included analyses, contact with customers, customer support,
technical documentation, development of templates for documents, translation of
documentation and education in varying extents.

1993-11 ~ 1995-08 |
Teacher mainly in mathematics and computer knowledge at AmuGruppen (a school for
re-education of unemployed persons). I also taught some technical English, business
economics and first aid.
I had the responsibility for education of immigrants; in specific this consisted of
responsibilities for economy, orders, bookings, schema and more on two or three
courses at the same time as I was teaching.
|
1992-06 ~ 1993-06 |
Travels in Italy and Germany whilst studying the languages.
|
1989-06 ~ 1992-05 |
Systems analyser/programmer at "Dataprogram i Växjö AB". This employment also
included a lot of contact with customers and technical support on XENIX- and UNIX-servers.
The employment meant a big responsibility for a programming project in Progress,
where I was responsible for all steps of developing an economy system in multi-user
environment. This was a very independent job, and I found it particularly satisfying.

1988-09 ~ 1989-06 |
